MEDIA RELEASE: 6 May 2009 From 28 May to 19 June Shazia Shakib, a member of the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA), will visit Australia for a speaking tour aimed at raising funds for RAWA's social projects in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Shazia will visit Adelaide, Hobart, Melbourne, Castlemaine, Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane and Lismore. Her tour is organized by the Support Association for the Women of Afghanistan (SAWA-Australia).

The tour is supported by the Australian Education Union and Zonta District 23 Area 2.
