Authorities Ban Direct Action - Puerile Perth Politicians

Following the exposure of so-called Labor (?) Government in the last edition of Direct Action when their cowardly batoning of the unemployed was broadcast, the powers that be in West Australia have notified Fellow Worker Wilkins that in future no more Direct Actions will be permitted to be sold in the Golden West.

Evidently the standard of intelligence among the Labor fakirs in W.A. is about on a par with that bunch in control of the gas house in Victoria. They cannot stop the spread of working class education, and the sooner they realise the fact the better.

The Labor Government in Perth is trying to suppress the TRUTH, and are prepared to go to any length, even frame ups, in their endeavour to hide the fact that unemployment and poverty is just as great under a Labor Government as in other states under a Liberal Government. In this reactionary act they are ably supported by their fellow parasites of that mental morgue, the Perth Trades Hall. The precious gang of loafers who infest this building, are so afraid of their evil deeds being shown the light of day that they have denied Harry Wilkins and his wife, the right to enter the sacred portals of the mausoleum of Trades Unionism, despite the fact that Harry Wilkins is a financial member of a craft union.

These joint actions are on a par with their stand during the overseas seamen's strike, when the W.A. Labor (???) Government bludgeoned the striking workers back to work with RIFLES AND BAYONETS.

This is our stand, shall the fight in Perth continue, every help will be given by the I.W.W. in Adelaide and elsewhere.  Already, since the news came through, several of our members have been making discrete enquires at Port Adelaide, as to the chances of a passage.

Education is the key-note of the I.W.W. - Direct Action is our avenue of education, and Direct Action will be our means of showing the reactionary, incompetant, supinely stupid and mentally constipated freaks of humanity in charge of things in Perth, that Force and PERSECUTION cannot stop human progress.
