It is the intention here to set up an archive of documents and analysis dealing with the experience of the IWW in Australia and the immediate region, over the last hundred years or so (off and on); its members and workers close to us. It is a job that will take a while to complete. Hopefully you will find something of interest here. Anything like full coverage of the subject, however is a long way off. We in the IWW are autonomous individuals. We need self-reliant rebels not party apparatchiks. We do not agree with everything anybody has written in the past. Some of the documents here were created by people who left school when they were twelve and worked and fought all their lives. Sometimes the document quoted is all that we know about the fellow worker concerned. All of them fought hard for their class and for the world without classes that is to come. |
